When Movies Did This, Games Did That
Is it ok to use this for blog post ideas?
I've been reading an excellent book about LucasArts and the
development of point-and-click puzzle/adventure games. It made me
think about how games in the late 90s were just getting started, but
movies at the same time were potentially reaching a peak.
I think there's some scope for a series of short blog posts comparing
films and games from the same year, showing how films in the 70s were
realistic, challenging and innovative, whilst games were basic, simple
and almost paper-thin. It would be very interesting to chart the
progress of games, from 2d to 3d to MMO, whilst films dumb-down, fail
to iterate and get mired in a battle for opening-day ratings and
sequels.
This year has seen the release of Portal 2, which was recently
reviewed as a comedy first, game second, so obviously I have a bias,
but I think it would make an interesting series of posts.

Seems pretty obvious - maybe it exists already?

Allow users to comment / amend ideas on Made by Ideas without claiming
Does what it says on the tin. Would like to be able to add in suggestions to existing 'available' ideas without needing to claim them first.

Let people unclaim on Made by Ideas
Accidentally claimed a project - but there's no feature here to let me 'unclaim'. I guess you don't want to encourage people to make rash decisions - but genuine mistakes will happen!
